First of all,wewould like to extend our New Year's greetings to all of you!

针对当前新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情，中国正积极采取有效措施全力抗击疫情，全面开展防控。学校深切关心每一位外国留学生的健康与平安，第一时间部署安排，科学有序、从严从实开展疫情防控。

In view of the current situation of pneumonia infected by new corona virus, China is now actively taking effective measures to fight against the epidemic and carry out comprehensive prevention and control.Nanjing Tech University is deeply concerned about health and safety of each international student. Instant arrangements are made for the epidemic prevention and control in a scientific, orderly and strict manner.

目前，疫情防控正处于关键时期，需要每一位留学生积极配合，共渡难关。在此，我们向同学们提出四点要求。

At present, the epidemic prevention and control is in the critical period, which needs the active cooperation of every overseas student to overcome the difficulty together. Here, we put forward four requirements to the students.

1.做好安全防护。学习正确有效的防控知识，增强卫生健康意识。不串门，不聚集，尽量不外出。出门务必戴好口罩，外出归来规范投放废弃口罩。勤洗手，居室定时开窗通风，注意个人卫生。尽量保持清淡饮食，注意合理作息。

1. Do well in safety protection.Learn correct and effective prevention and control knowledge and enhancehygiene and health awareness.No visiting.No gathering. No going out whenever possible. Wear a good mask when you go out, and put the discarded mask in a standard way when you come back. Wash your hands frequently, open windows and ventilate the room regularly, and pay attention to personal hygiene. Try to maintain a light diet and keep proper work and rest.

2.遵守学校安排。所有留学生不要提前返校。根据江苏省教育厅通告精神，学校决定2月底前不开学。具体开学时间学校确定后，将提前通告。如果你已回国，请等待开学通知；如果你在中国其他城市，请尽量减少流动，服从当地防控管理，并与辅导员保持联系。

2.Comply with the university arrangements.All international students should not return to the university in advance. According to the announcement of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, Nanjing Tech University decided not to open before the end of February.The exact opening time of the university is to be announced to you in advance when it is determined . If you have returned to your country, please wait for the opening notice; if you are in other cities in China, please minimize the flow, obey the local control management, and keep in touch with your teacher of student adviser.

学校校园实行封闭管理，在校留学生不出校园。如因特殊原因需进出校园，须提前一天向辅导员申请，经学校审核同意后方可进出。

The campus of the university is under closed management, and international students on campus are not allowed to leave the campus. If you need to enter or leave the campus for special reasons, you must apply to your teacher of student adviser one day in advance, and only with the approval of the university, you can enter or leave the campus .

留学生公寓实行封闭管理，进出必须实名验证并检测体温。请同学们进出公寓时携带个人有效证件，在宿管老师处登记。

The apartments for international students are under closed management, in and out of which your true name shall be verified and your body temperature shall be taken. Please bring your valid ID card or related document to register at the teacher in charge of dormitory when you enter and leave the apartment.

我们知道这会对你们的在校生活带来不便，对此我们深表理解，但这些措施是当前疫情防控的关键及必要步骤，为保障大家的健康和安全，恳请每位留学生严格遵守，积极配合。

We know that it will bring inconvenience to your school life, which we deeply understand. However, these measures are the key and necessary steps for the current epidemic prevention and control. In order to ensure everyone's health and safety, we urge every international student to strictly obey them and actively cooperate.

3.加强联系沟通。学校老师始终陪伴在你们身边。如果你们遇到困难，请第一时间与辅导员联系，我们会尽力帮助你们。疫情防控期间，学校将实时统计同学们的进出情况和身体状况，请大家认真配合、及时上报。如果你或其他同学出现发热、咳嗽等呼吸道感染症状，请及时就医并如实向辅导员报告。

3. Strengthen contact and communication.The university teachers are always with you. If you are in trouble, please contact your teacher of student adviser as soon as possible, and we will try our best to help you. During the epidemic prevention and control period, The university will collect instant statistics of students' entering and leaving the campus and physical condition.Please cooperate and report it in a timely manner. If you or other students have respiratory tract infection symptoms such as fever and cough, please see doctor in time and report the truth to your teacher of student adviser.

4.参加在线学习。为保证疫情防控期间教学进度和教学质量，实现“停课不停教、停课不停学”，学校将开展形式多样的在线教学。同学们可以通过网络教学平台参加在线听课学习、参加讨论交流、完成相关自学和练习任务，为后期的学习打牢基础。

4. Participate in online learning.In order to ensure the teaching progress and quality during the period of epidemic prevention and control, and to realize the goal of "non-stop teaching and non-stop learning", the university is to carry out various forms of online teaching. You can take part in online learning, discussion and exchange, complete related self-study and practice tasks through the online teaching platform, and lay a solid foundation for later learning.
